namaskaram and welcome
THROUGH STORY, WE TAKE YOU THERE.
Into a village in Kerala, into the pages of the ancient text Astanga Hrdayam, and alongside an Ayurvedic physician—learning Ayurveda where it is lived. Ayurveda was never meant to be learned from information alone. In BODYMOUTH AYURVEDA, you will learn Ayurveda with your head, your heart and your hands.

Come to Kerala
Journey with me to Manipuram, to mornings by the river, to meals eaten by hand and cooked by heart. Come with me as we find herbs growing beside houses that are plucked and decocted into medicine, then journey into Ayurveda itself alongside one of Kerala's most decorated physicians, Dr Sreejith KJ.Â
Through stories of village life, conversations with the doctor and exploration of the ancient texts, you can come to know Ayurveda not simply as something you study for wellness, but as something you live, for life.

Hi, I'm Dr Winny
Â
I'm a social worker and medical anthropologist, and for the past twenty years, my work in traditional medicine has carried me across continents, clinics, kitchens, and backsteps.Â
My PhD in medical anthropology grew from these places—from watching how traditional medicine is carried in the hands and habits of everyday life.
I began teaching in Public Health at the University of Sydney before I found classrooms of a different kind: Chinese apothecaries in Chongqing, remote desert communities with senior ngangkari healers in Central Australia, and a Keralan village where I lived with an Ayurvedic family at Pranavam and studied Astanga Hrdayam with Dr Sreejith KJ.
Today, I run Panacea House traditional medicines garden and homestay on the NSW Central Coast and teach BODYMOUTH AYURVEDA as a way of being at home in your body and mind.

May I introduce you to Dr Sreejith
Â
This course is based on the teaching and guidance of Dr Sreejith KJ. Dr Sreejith graduated with a Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS) in 2002. Following his graduation, he was a researcher at the Arya Vaidya Pharmacy in Coimbatore and deepened his knowledge through gurukula under Brahmasree Valloor Sankaran Namboodiri, a renowned Ayurvedic scholar and toxicologist. In 2005, Dr. Sreejith co-founded Pranavam Ayurveda with his wife and Ayurvedic physician Dr Diana Sreejith. They have received numerous accolades for their contributions to Ayurveda, including the Best New Brand in Ayurveda award in 2017, and the Future Kerala Award. Dr Sreejith has been awarded the State's Best Private Ayurveda Practitioner Award by the Honourable Health Minister three times: in 2019, 2021 and 2026.Â
